Fire or ice ?

Fuoco e ghiaccio
Qualcuno dice che il mondo finirà nel fuoco, 
altri dicono nel ghiaccio.
Da quel che sento di desiderare
rimango tra chi preferisce il fuoco.
Ma sè si dovesse morire 2 volte,
penso che saprei abbastanza dell'odio
per capire che anche la distruzione del ghiaccio
è grande e sarebbe sufficiente.

Some say the world end in fire,
some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
to know that for destruction ice
is also great and would suffice.
